Our voluntary board members meet on a monthly basis (except July and December) on the last Monday of the month at Inshes Church in Inverness. Since Covid, Trustees are also able to join our meetings online.

Vice Chairman

Retired nurse teacher with an active interest in the safety and well-being of older adults. Long standing member of HSCN committee. Member of Communications Group. Particular interest in peer-speaking as an effective way of sharing useful information, with a current focus on Scams Prevention.

Irene Robertson

Minute Secretary

Joined HSCN following retiral from the NHS in 2015. Member of Communications Group. Previous volunteering experience with Crossroads (Inverness); currently involved with Sight Action’s Talking Book Service.

Brian Devlin

Media Relations Officer

Former Director of Corporate Affairs for NHS Highland dealing with media and reputational issues. Developed a system for ethical decision making for the NHS in Highland. Academic background in Philosophy and Theology. Media advisor to HSCN.

Worked in further and higher education. Joined HSCN committee in 2014. Interested in how good communication can enhance well-being of older people.

Joined HSCN in February 2022. I look after the Network's administration, bookkeeping, accounts and payroll - and take your calls for HSCN. I also continue to run my own book-keeping and payroll services business.
