The Highland Senior Citizens’ Network was established in 1995 against a back-ground of reducing resources and a perception that the quality of life was in danger of deteriorating for older people.

The Highland Senior Citizens’ Network rapidly achieved a high profile with its campaigning recognised by both the statutory authorities and the media as the authentic voice of Highland senior citizens
